We spent some time with Karina and Lidio this past Friday for their bridal session. We started at Montrose Harbor with the boats and the Chicago skyline as our backdrop. After spending some time there, we headed over to a forest preserve in Lyons where the light was gorgeous. It was so sweet how they could look at each other and a smile would instantly develop. It was a pleasure spending time with these two.
I had a great time with Jori Tuesday morning. It was unconventionally cool day for July, but it was perfect for our session. We met at the Floral Gardens in Chicago’s Humbolt Park.
Jori Foreman is the owner and head designer of Fab Flora, an eco-friendly floral company. We first met at a networking event in the beginning of the year and have continued to get to know each other better and grow our friendship. She truly has a love for serving others and a passion for creating beautiful arrangements to make an event special.
Jori often takes her dog on walks through the Floral Gardens. Next time she agreed to bring her dog along on the session.
A year ago, we were in downtown Chicago shooting a maternity session for Leo and Debbie. This year, so much has changed in their lives. Their session this year included their incredibly cute baby boy (check out that hair!) and we even got a few shots in front of their new house.
Many of these were shot near Adler Planetarium on the lakefront. They’re hoping to get some shots in front of the skyline every year.
It’s wonderful to know this family, and even more wonderful to witness the many blessings they’ve received.
