FBN Sales, Inc.

This week, I had a shoot for FBN Sales, Inc. in Plainwell, Michigan. FBN provides replacement parts and other equipment for the bottling industry.
The owner of FBN, Jim Turley, has invested heavily in the property, inside and out. He has planted trees and a garden. He even brought in several beehives to pollinate the area. In the future, he wants to add a fish pond and recycle the water to cool the machinery.
His efforts haven’t gone unnoticed. FBN received the beautification award for the city of Plainwell, marking the first time the award was given to a business. Their staff was friendly and they truly knew their craft. It was great to spend some time documenting their work.

SAU Fall Shoot – Day Two

Here are some of my favorites from day two at SAU. We were able to cover a lot of different areas of university life, from exercise to music programs to soccer practice. For shoots like this, I find it incredibly important to be moment driven. There’s great interaction and energy happening all over campus. I just have to capture it.
SAU Fall Shoot – Day One

I’m spending two days shooting photos at Spring Arbor University. A lot has changed since I graduated in 2009, but I’m still blessed to have a lot of great relationships here. In addition to capturing campus scenery and students, I’m trying to tell the story of a community of learners trying to make the world a better place. Here are some of my favorites from day one. Looking forward to more great stories tomorrow.
