Meg & Andy

We've been looking forward to Meg & Andy's wedding for over a year. We heard the ideas, plans, and vision for what they had hoped their day would look like. And when it was finally here, it was just so perfect from start to finish.

The whole day was filled with happiness and joy for their marriage. It was so hard for me to narrow down photos for a preview because I just wanted to edit them all!

Courtney and Tim's wedding day was filled with laughter and tears of joy, often at the same time. It's obvious that their wedding day and their marriage is something they've both been excitedly waiting for. From the heartfelt vows they wrote for each other, to the looks they gave each other throughout the day, it was amazing to photograph this moment in their lives.

Mien & Lance

Michael and I traveled to Indianapolis this weekend to have a wedding-filled weekend with Mien and Lance. It was so nice exploring a new place together. We photographed her sister's wedding two years ago, so it was really nice to see the family again. Both families came together to make sure they had an amazing day, which ended with a pretty fantastic sparkler exit.

Since Mien and Lance live in Chicago, they wanted wedding photos featuring Chicago's iconic skyline. The weather was perfect and the light was just beautiful. It was a fantastic ending to their wedding weekend.

Mary and Ryan had the most amazing day. The details were well thought out and so beautiful. They chose their first look to be near the location where Ryan proposed. Their closest friends and family were part of the wedding ceremony and offered their love and support the whole day.

Alana & Eric

We had an epic Michigan wedding last weekend. Even though Alana and Eric live in Chicago, they wanted to have their wedding in Michigan where they're both from. They had most of their guest travel from Chicago and enjoy the weekend in Michigan with them.

Their wedding day was flawless and you could tell how much love and thoughtfulness was poured into the day and their union. It was just beautiful from start to finish.

Monica & Brett

Monica and Brett had the most beautiful day for their wedding. The weather was nice, but it was beautiful because I could truly FEEL their love. The excitement before the ceremony, the conversations of anticipation they felt towards finally seeing each other, and the toasts all reflected how Monica and Brett are always looking for ways to serve and honor each other.

Absolutely beautiful.

I'm so thankful for all the amazing vendors that contributed to making their day so special.

Nina and Jared

On Saturday morning, there were some clouds crowding an overcast sky, but by the time Nina and Jared were married later in the afternoon, all that was a distant memory. The weather was perfect, which made their outdoor ceremony at the Public Landing Restaurant in Lockport, Illinois that much more beautiful. Of course that wonderful weather was just a small part of their heart-warming celebration. They were surrounded by loyal friends and loving family, and they sure had a lot of fun.

Alicia and Taek

I'm still on a high from yesterday's wedding. Alicia and Taek planned a flawless wedding day that was filled with great meaning and honor to their families and to God. Their ceremony was an amazing time of worship.

The rain managed to clear up just in time for portraits giving us great weather that included a nice breeze. We are so happy to have been part of their beautiful day.

Julie and Kevin

I love how Julie & Kevin's wedding truly spoke to who they are as a couple. They met in college during a Production class (Production 2 to be exact), when they re-enacted a scene from Star Wars, so of course they had to incorporate that into their wedding. They had a Han & Leia cake topper and mini "light sabers" for all the guests. The tables also had different movie/tv themes.

The improv group Kevin is part of even performed a several skits acting out scenes from their relationship after dinner.  It was unique, hilarious, and totally them.
