Metts Photo

Moments matter. Because your photographs will be with you for the rest of your lives, we know telling your wedding story is a huge responsibility.

From start to finish, we’re a part of your wedding day. We always have at least two photographers shooting different moments as they happen. Each wedding commission includes an engagement session so that we can get to know you and your fiancé before the wedding day.

If you’d like to see more of our work, or if you’re interested in working with us, we’d love to have a conversation with you. While we’re based in the Chicago area, we’re open to any location. Please contact us.

Myrthe and Joseph

This past Saturday, we got to take photos of Joe and Myrthe’s wedding. They were so relaxed, and it was easy to see how they’re meant for each other. We weren’t the only people who noticed this. Guest after guest mentioned how their relationship serves as a great example to everyone else.

There were some wonderful moments throughout the day. At the start of the ceremony, Myrthe’s two children accompanied her down the aisle on either side. Later, during the reception, the best man sang a song Joe picked out for his bride. At the end of the day, there was an open mic so that any of the guests could give them encouragement, and many of them did just that.

A great wedding to start the year.

Janusz & Kinga

This Saturday was a beautiful day for a beautiful wedding. Janusz and Kinga were surrounded by family and friends for their special day. The sky cleared up and the rain held off for the ceremony at Pine Manor, a lovely home that has been converted into a cozy wedding venue.

After the ceremony, we headed to the North Avenue beach for some more intimate portraits. Amazingly, the rain stayed away yet again. We had a nice soft skyline backdrop. Kinga and Janusz used to frequent the beach when Kinga lived in the city, so it was a great place to make some new memories.

Joy and Anthony

I heard people talking about “#teamkasper82″ throughout the whole day. I’m sure if you search for that hashtag you will find a ton of photos from Saturday. As the day progressed it was evident how Joy and Anthony weren’t just forming a team as husband and wife, they both had friends and family rallying around them as a team to provide encouragement, support and love. It was an amazing thing to witness.

I honestly don’t think Joy and Anthony’s wedding could have gone better. The day was so relaxed, everything was on schedule, and the bride and groom were filled with an incredible amount of excitement.
